DUVET DAYS IS ABOUT SUPPORTING THOSE AFFECTED BY RAPE AND DOMESTIC ABUSE. USING DESIGN TO CREATE AWARENESS, SELF DISCOVERY, AND A SPACE FOR SELF-LOVE.
ABUSIVE EXPERIENCES DO NOT DEFINE WHO WE ARE. INSTEAD THEY ARE A PART OF OUR STORY AND WHO WE CHOOSE TO BECOME. LET OUR EXPERIENCE EMPOWER aLL OF US, NOT DEFINE US.

Jenna Wiebe, Duvet Days Founder
Rape, Sexual Assault, and Domestic Abuse Survivor

A Duvet Day is a day off for personal well being. It’s not a day to tend to an emergency, an errand, or even a sick day. It’s a “just because” day. A day to practice kindness towards yourself, which should be simple, but in actuality, is one of the biggest challenges for survivors. A Duvet Day allows you to overcome all obstacles in self-kindness so you can learn to love yourself again, as well as others.

An Ampersand symbol (&) resembles a broken infinity symbol, reminding us that nothing truly lasts forever. Most important, it reminds us there is always an AND. I designed this custom Ampersand out of two broken hearts, as well as the first letter of my name, J, to represent the healing of a broken spirit, and to show we are all resilient incredible beings.
